Thanks again for your valuable input! I have found entries in table T5F42 in another client dev system... strangely the client doesn't operate in France... thus it is kind of complicated to distinguish between standard entries for France pubic sector FA/FB/FC [which is absolutely of no interest to me at the moment] and the general solution F1/F2/F3... plus name space (F) also share a few characteristic with the finish solution. 
I think my best bet is to collect a list of standard tables where I think I should be founding entries and message SAP; see there input...
I agree with that upload program you are referring, will make you a reach man
