We have a situation where we need to add a new user status (e.g. CCCC) in an existing numbered user status profile which have already been assigned to a set of equipments. We need to add this new status between the 2nd (e.g BBBB) & the 3rd (DDDD) user status. Many equipments ( in thousands) which have already been created in the system are in the 3rd user status (i.e. DDDD). When we add the new status (CCCC) in the status profile , then equipments which are already in the user status DDDD automatically changes to CCCC which creates an inconsistancy.
Has any one come across this situation & if yes, how do we correct the incossistancy.? Appreciate your response. Thanks.
