Yep, that's a good idea too.

In the NW7.02 version of BRF+ (the one I mostly "play" with), the Ruleset Variable Initialization section is somewhat hidden in the Ruleset maintenance screen so I am reluctant to use it as I like everything to be explicit and highly visible.

But I've just noticed in NW7.04 that this section is much more prominent now so maybe I'll start using it a bit more.
