Please check whether your BI Platform RESTful web service is installed or not with your BI 4.1.

Log on to the Central Management Console (CMC) with your user ID.

Select “Applications” from the list box in the top left corner of the CMC  or click on the “Applications” icon  on the CMC toolbar.

RESTful Web Service should be one of the available applications:

Contact your BI platform administrator if RESTful web services are not installed and configured on your deployment.

If you found the RESTful Web Service in the list of available options then your next step is should be is to  find the base URL.

For retrieving the base URL of RESTful web service, follow the below steps; Log on to the Central Management Console (CMC) user interface and navigate to the RESTful web services settings:

1. Log on to the CMC.
2. Click Applications.
3. Right-click RESTful Web Service and from the pop up menu select Properties.
4. Retrieve the base URL from the Access URL text box.

Hit this base URL in any browser(preferably Google chrome as it acts as a REST web service client), it will retrieves you the XML regarding that particular URL.
